Rêverie aims to close the gap that exists between the artist and the audience, next to the aim to give beginning dancemakers a chance to show themselves and their work. To achieve this Rêverie is not just a festival where the artist comes, shows his piece and goes back home. During the the festival there will be sought for different ways to communicate and open a dialogue. The audience meets the work of beginning makers en therefore sees what is about to happen to the dance of the future.
The program of Rêverie gives possibilities to work with dance in several ways. Next to the performances there will also be a unique possibility to take a look behind the scenes during the open rehearsals. The program will be completed with workshops and a debate.
